GET TO KNOW ME!

Howdy!

I am Shreya. A researcher by passion, heart, and soul. India is my home. I am presently residing in the UK for 2 years now! Here I completed my masters’ and I am diving headfirst into a PhD now! Wooohooo, did I just say that?! More power to me.

I love to travel, have a cuppa coffee and well, I also love to share what I’m up to with the world, and that is why I am here. This page is where you can get to know me a bit more.
Thank for stopping by, reader! Loads of love! 🤍🤍

Hi, you! (A little note from me to you :))

Like you, I don’t have my life figured out yet—but that’s the beauty of it, isn’t it? The world is vast, full of places to see and things to learn. (That’s me in the photo on the right, mesmerized by nature’s beauty during my trip to South India, Munnar—a moment of awe I had just a few months ago.)

I started this page as a way to give back. As researchers, that’s what we do—we contribute to society, in one way or another. Through this space, I want to share my small slice of knowledge from my 20s: the places I’ve traveled, the people I’ve met, the cultures I’ve learned from, and the do’s and don’ts I’ve picked up along the way.

On the research side, I’ll be breaking down topics bit by bit—no rushing, just gradual learning. I’ll also share insights on applying for scholarships to study abroad, navigating academia (since I’m currently doing a PhD), and, of course, some inevitable PhD rants. It’s a tough ride, not for the faint-hearted!

So stick around—I promise to keep things real, insightful, and hopefully, a little entertaining. I hope this page becomes something meaningful, a small way for me to give back, just as I’ve always dreamt of. I have plans, and I can’t wait to share them with you!
